HELHORSE Release New Single and Video!
9. august 2019
Hydra drops August 23rd on Rodeostar Records!
When gnarly punk, pure metal and the swagger of hard rock meet, it can only mean one thing: the unholy rebirth of HELHORSE! The Danes love to rock out with riffs heavier than Godzilla`s balls. Be part of one of the loudest, dirtiest and also most melodic riff fests of the year!
HELHORSE have just released their 2nd single. So, get ready and listen to the brand new track Avalanche and watch the video
HELHORSE on Avalanche: “This song represents the changes that this band has gone through and it shows the development in our song writing. And though the initial idea for the lyrics was political, it ended up revolving around Mikkel’s own personal growth. Once again we’ve collaborated with the talented Andreas Benthien and he has created a video that is a great testament to the magic that happens at live shows. A great mix of what we do best combined with the sound of Helhorse in 2019.”
HELHORSE are no strangers on the international scene sharing stages with acts such as AC/DC, Rammstein, and Slayer, while touring Europe with Karma To Burn and PhilCampbell to name a few.
The new album “Hydra” is set to elevate this excellent four-piece even further into the minds and hearts of heavy metal fans all over the world. “Hydra” has everything you need as a fan of heavy music. Riffs are ripping, the choruses are bigger than Trump’s ego, and the energy is authentic as it is infectious. The lyrical theme of the album is focused on seizing the day, and not to letting triviality drag you down. Or in Mikkel Wads words: “The perpetual rage feeds desire – that sums up pretty well how I felt writing the lyrics for this album. I have channeled my restlessness, my anger and my disdain for triviality and overall bullshit:”
„Hydra“ has been mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (Gojira, Meshuggah). Staying clear of the modern music worlds compressed and very undynamic master, „Hydra“ aims at giving you that crisp you’ve been missing, and showcasing that quality of spending time on refining the smaller details, to give you a spacious sound.
HELHORSE are acclaimed and praised for their live shows and their charismatic sound. The band has spent the last couple of years positioning themselves as a true force as one of the leading heavy bands in the Nordic area. The band has been named one of Denmark’s best live acts several times, showcasing relentless touring history over the years, and also performed at key festivals such as Roskilde, Copenhell, Spot Festival, Tallinn Music Week, Reeperbahn Festival and many more.

THE BLACK WIZARDS release brand new video! Reflections coming August 23rd!
7. August 2019
August 23rd will see psychedelic fuzz rockers The Black Wizards return with their brand new album, Reflections. Born in the digital era, these Portuguese rock talents enthrall with an analogue and unique sound of fuzzadelic grooves. Drinking from the same fountains as many of the contemporary bands around, The Black Wizards give a new twist on previously heard tunes and stamp their own personality.
Today the band is sharing with us their brand new video to the psychedelic juggernaut “Kaleidoscope”, taken from The Black Wizards‘ upcoming album!
“Kaleidoscope eyes is one of my favorites songs from this record.” Guitarist and vocalist Joana Brito comments. “It’s a psychedelic floating dream song with a very up-bright vibe. For the video, we had the idea of having eyes on it and we did some experiences with Lugatte’s lens and it worked out, so we thought that maybe we could do it ourselves and take it as a new challenge. So then we did it all by ourselves, from capture to edition and it was quite fast but we are proud that we could do it and capture the same nice vibe that you have in the song to the video, we think it fits very well.”
The band exploded on the scene in late 2015 with their debut Lake of Fire, followed by the Fuzzadelic– EP, the sophomore critically acclaimed album What the Fuzz! and numerous tour dates and festival appearances all over Europe. Their live performances are known for being an intense explosion of emotions with lots of soul and of course, a heavy fuzz. The Black Wizards have grown in their sound, they have upped their ante with sonic experimentation without ever losing sight of the core roots having their feet on the ground. The band has learned and archieved a lot, and the time has finally come to present the hotly anticipated, third album: Reflections is like a sunny day and fresh breeze of groovy beats and psychedelia, swaying between sweet moments and massive fuzz deliriums. This record is here to prove more than ever, The Black Wizards are one of the most prolific and promising bands around!
Reflections is set to be released August 23rd on Vinyl with Kozmic Artifactz and on CD plus Vinyl with Raging Planet (including a deluxe edition with a 7”inch Vinyl outakes)!
Tracklist:
- Imposing Sun

6. August 2019
Danish black metal quartet ORM is set to release their ambitious and kaleidoscopic second album ‘Ir’ on August 30th via Indisciplinarian. Today, the band shares the second excerpt from one of the record’s two long compositions recorded during af recent filmed live session and also, the band announces an additional Copenhagen November show.
ORM’s second album ‘Ir’ is an ambitious progressive black metal work consisting of the two +20 minutes long compositions ‘Klippens Lyse Hal’ (‘The Bright Hall Of the Cliff’) and ‘Bær Solen Ud’ (‘Carry Out the Sun’) produced by the band’s guitarist and singer Simon Sonne Andersen. In cooperation with video makers Bjørn Patterson and Anders Dahl, ORM has recorded a live session with the new material in Copenhagen based Black Tornado Studio, where also most of ‘Ir’ was recorded. Recently, the band released the first excerpt from ‘Ir’, not from the album recording itself, but sounds from the mentioned live session. Now, the second excerpt from the same session is released. Once more, it is a five minute live excerpt from side A entitled ‘Klippens Lyse Hal’ (Danish for ‘The Bright Hall of The Cliff’), but as where the first excerpt was the initial five minutes of the track, this time we are led even further into the composition’s sombre and alluring sonic maze.

Also, listen and watch the first live excerpt HERE!
ORM will play ‘Ir’ in its entirety at their release show on August 29th at Alice in Copenhagen, which is almost sold out. HAMMERFALL release new official video for “Dominion”
5. August 2019
New Album Dominion out on 16th August 2019
HAMMERFALL return with their new smashing single to continue their dominion of the world. ”Welcome to Pandemonium, the Capital of Hell.”
HAMMERFALL release their third single and title track “Dominion” off their new album Dominion and accompany that release with a breath-taking new official video, which was officially premiered on legendary Wacken Open Air festival in front of 75 000 screaming heavy metal Templars of Steel! Finding inspiration in the great poem Paradise Lost,“Dominion” is about the archangel Lucifer’s fall from the Heavens, down to the pit, and howa warrior shaped demon lord came to conquer them all. Be prepared for heavy riffs and epic vocals.
Singer Joacim Cans on the new video:
“After the great success with the “(We Make) Sweden Rock” video, we needed to take the“Dominion” clip to a whole new level.
Since it was impossible to take it higher – we decided to descend to Pandemonium, the Capital of Hell!
With great CGI effects the storyline walks hand in hand with the lyrical theme and never before have we had so much fun recording a video.”
Oscar Dronjak on the new single:
“The riff and the most part of the first half of the song was written and conceived on a family vacation in Florida. The rest was completed on tour with HammerFall, which is a first for me as a song writer; I’ve never written anything at all while on the road before. The massive guitars and the pounding drums gets us started, but it’s really in the verses and choruses where the song really comes into bloom. You will not be able to get the chorus out of your head, and in this case it’s a good thing”
DOMINION is HAMMERFALL’s eleventh studio album, and second with Napalm Records. DOMINION is available as CD, Vinyl, and a limited edition Deluxe Box Set consisting of a digipack, limited 7” light blue vinyl, limited cassette, cover art print, photo cards, patch and sticker.
Tracklist:
- Never Forgive, Never Forget
- Dominion
- Testify
- One Against the World
- (We Make) Sweden Rock
- Second to One
- Scars of a Generation
- Dead by Dawn
- Battleworn
- Bloodline
- Chain of Command
- And Yet I Smile
For Dominion, HAMMERFALL re-teamed with James Michael to do vocals at Red Level Three studios, and Fredrik Nordström of Studio Fredman at Castle Black Studios for the instruments on the powerful 12 song collection.
HAMMERFALL on the new album:
“Good is not good enough; it has to be great. This is the mantra we have applied to every aspect of making this album, from the song writing and rehearsals to the production and the performance of each member. The result is DOMINION, a powerful force of nature that cannot be stopped. Once you hear it, you will understand.”
